Evaluation of the Performance of the Behavioral Guidance Structure (BGS) at Bonneville Dam

The objective of this project was to evaluate the performance of a behavioral guidance structure (BGS) installed at Bonneville Dam Second Powerhouse for: guiding juvenile Chinook salmon and steelhead to the Second Powerhouse Corner Collector (B2CC), increasing survival of fish passing the Second Powerhouse, increasing the passage efficiency and effectiveness of the B2CC, and reducing fish passage through turbines 11-14.
