Pavlo Ivanusa came to PNNL in 2016 and joined the Risk and Decision Sciences Group. His past and current projects include:

  • Data analysis of the Multi-Modal Transportation Test. This test included accelerometer and strain gauge data of surrogate used nuclear fuel.
  • Modeling of risk for the Tritium Sustainability Program. This task includes modeling the project risks in Excel using @Risk, an Excel Add-on, and their impact on tritium production.
  • Being an operator for handheld radiation detector testing.
  • Being an operator for the several radiation portal monitors for RPM-RP.
  • Performing core analysis calculations in CASMO and SIMULATE for the Tritium Sustainability Program.
His main interests are modeling, data analysis, radiation transport and detection, and reactor physics.
