Biography

Keith Geiszler has over 20 years of experience in (ICP-MS and Analytical Chemistry). Since joining PNNL in (1996), his work has focused primarily on (Inorganic Analytical instrumentation and for the last 10 years the Radiation Portal Monitors Project (RPMP)). Since joining the Interfacial Geochemistry Group (2002), Keith has been a part of the environmental services lab, from operating the ICP-MS for a wide variety of projects, to overseeing the trace metals group, to co- manage the ESL and also provides 1/1 review of most of the Interfacial Geochemistry analytical data as well as provide 1/1 review of RPM data from calibrators in the field. Keith has also been active with the tank waste and waste form testing applications, such as characterization of the tank waste, single-pass flow through, and pressurized unsaturated flow reactions. Since 2009, Keith has also become a key member of the Radiation Portal Monitor Project calibration team, which provides a great change of pace as well as lots of travel to domestic seaports and border crossings. Keith also travels extensively with his wife, Nikki. He can often be found watching or attending Oakland Raider football games, his other passion next to his wife and son!
