Biography

Over the past 34 Years at PNNL, Clark has had the opportunity to work in a variety of technical fields ranging from Radio-Geochemistry through the implementation and installation of radiation detection technologies.

Current work experience includes:

  • Mobile Detection System Deployment Lead for the Nuclear Smuggling Detection and Deterrence (NSDD) program (DOE) providing various radiation detection equipment for Partner countries
  • Training partner country agency staff (Border Protection, Custom and National Police) on the use of this equipment (NSDD)
  • Field Operations Site Manager for the Radiation Portal Monitor Project (DHS) providing contract and construction oversite for the installation of Radiation Detection Portals for all conveyances coming through US ports of entry.

Previous work experience included:

  • Single Shell Tank Vadose Zone Characterization Project (DOE) provided Project Management and experimental design
  • Integrated Disposal Facility Project (DOE) provided Project Management and experimental design
  • Special Waste Form Lysimeters Stabilization Project (DOE) provided technical oversight for sample collection, data analysis, quality control
